After being mauled by my little fuzzy wuzzy, she's finally back to her normal disposition trying her darnest to ignore me. Of course, I won't let her!
Moving on to Sweet Bea, my first amigurumi. Hopefully, she won't be my last. She/it started as a guy but I decided to put a skirt on him/her/it. Does that make him/her a drag queen? hehehe! I think I'm the one who's confused.
Are you sure I look like Princess Leia...Oh my gawd, my eye!!! Ahhhh! Where is my other ear? What is that stringy thing around my head? A tape worm? Take it off!! Ahhhh!!!
Next time I will use a smaller hook to make the stitches tighter. All right, all right no need to say it out loud! I DO need to practice some more.
Here I am all done and playing with my best pal, Scottie (I collected Beanie babies, too) looking good with Lori's Pretty Little Things flower ponytails around his neck. Cute, isn't he?
Moving on to something that makes me giddy like a little girl waiting for spring to arrive. I'm loving this SWELL fabric collection from MODA. I bought charm packs last year and couldn't wait to make my super-duper easy pattern that I got as a freebie from the quilt shop. Thanks, Donna! I decided to make it bigger without an inner and outer border. Love it!
And lastly, I received a package from Sharon containing a heart pillow and a Jennifer Murphy reproduction. Emma, who has a fetish for packing materials played with the red tissue paper. I think she was more excited than I am! Thank you very much, Sharon.
Before I forget, Miss Polka Dot is feeling much, much, MUCH better now. Darn that nasty flu that is going around. Make sure you don't pass it on to me, ok. Toodles everyone! Take care and stay healthy.
