Just chillin'!

This is me after a busy, busy, busy day at work.  I just want to get into my comfy clothes, take my grub and a drink out back, enjoy the sunset and the cool evening breeze.  Ahhhhhh!!!!

 

Mary Engelbreit mug

I hardly ever post and so I thought I'd shared photos of this mug that Darlene was wondering about from the previous post. It is a Mary Engelbreit Scotty dog ceramic mug I bought a few years ago. I've been looking for another one, ummm, make that three like it since. If anyone had seen this mug for sale online, please let me know. Oh yeah, pass the info to Darlene as well. Lazy day...

I had a list of things to do today but I stayed at home and be lazy instead. Why you asked? I stayed up all night working on one of my gazillion WIPs. Woke up around 7:30 this morning and had breakfast outside. I had leftover dinner, big bowl of peach halves with a large dollop of cottage cheese and a tall mug of hot tea. It wasn't too hot yet and there was a cool breeze. I hung out with a couple of my girls, did a little needlework, reading and a whole lot of nothing. It was definitely a lazzzzzy day for me.

 

 

Pinkie (temporary name) was looking for the rice to go with her breakfast. Yes, I said rice! If you live in this household, rice is a MUST for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Believe me,it goes with everything! Lucky for her, Pinkier (also a temporary name) brought out the rice cooker.  Effing cute, isn't it!

  

Her breakfast is giving me a heart attack just looking at it!

Giving is definitely better!

It's my dearest aunt's birthday this month. So I thought she would love to have this quilt.

Then I decided to give these quilts to my three nieces. 

For my niece Jan, the eldest. We are excited that she's going to college. Yay!

 

For the middle child, Lauren Shirley. She's picky so I hope she likes this tumbler quilt. I love the backing I used for this one.

 

And for the youngest, Mika (short for Mikaela) who's a major chatterbox. That girl can talk for hours. But she's becoming my favorite of the three. Uh-oh, I'm not supposed to have a favorite. Whoopsy!

 

Once again, I'm without a pinwheel quilt. But I'm not worried. I can always make another one. Right?
