Up all night with Harry and the gang

I stayed up all night reading this book. And like so many of you, I started with the last chapter. What??! Like you didn't? LOL!

I was at Barnes & Noble until about 1:30 waiting and waitint.. I am only on chapter 22.. We are all fighting over it. We have three different book marks going. WOW. I am loving it so far. I think tonight will be another late nighter.

I received my copy of the final HP on Saturday afternoon, but since I have yet to read book #6 (I know - I'm a loser!), I have been picking it up and setting it down again - just because I can, I guess!
I am going to read book #6 this week, and then on to the finale! I think I've put it off so long because I don't want it to end!

My favorite part is at the end when he is walking into the forbidden forest to face V and is joined by his parents, Lupin and Sirius.
He says to his father, "You'll stay with me?" and james says "Until the end." Then he asks his mother to stay close saying "Stay close to me" How touching - I cried... It's now Wed and I just finished it at midnight last night - great book. Got the book on cd at costco and we'll listen to it now.

Sacrilige! I totally did not start with the last chapter ... but am finding that many did. What is that like?... to know the ending as you are reading through?? I got to the end the old fashion way :) And all I will say is that I was so glad to read about Snape's truth. He was always my fave.

Nope I didn't - I wasn't even tempted. I wanted to savour every word and not miss a thing. But I also read as quickly as I could because I had to know what happened!
