More Macro Challenge

I joined this challenge to improve on my photography skills (still a bit rusty). I can't believe I actually read the manual to figure out the buttons on my point and shoot camera. For this challenge, we are using the macro setting, that's the flower button on your camera, to take close-up pictures.

These pictures are taken with and without the macro setting. The camera lens is about 2 1/2 inches close to the buttons.

Here I'm playing with the exposure. According to my camera's manual, exposure is the amount of light that the camera receive when you release the shutter. Correct exposure or is it underexposure (too little light/darker image) and the second is overexposure (too much light/whitish image). The camera will adjust it for you if you are using the auto adjustment mode or you can do it manually by adjusting the shutter speed and aperture value. Blah, blah, blah...

That's enough lesson for today. Anyhoo, more photo entries for the macro challenge. Enjoy!

Thanks for the lesson...I am truly camera shopping today one way or the other...though it is snowing like Christmas around here!

Loving your photos! And your Blythe doll! I hope to take photography classes someday! Maybe when the kids are BOTH in school. MAYBE!

I am loving the close-ups of your world, Doe! So pretty!
